Salted Caramel Cupakes

We are celebrating my mom’s 73rd birthday this week! I’ve made so many vanilla cake/vanilla SMBC cakes lately, but I never get to eat them! (More *importantly*, neither do my kids!)

So, made my vanilla/vanilla combo that we could enjoy!

I had some leftover caramel and decided to put it to use! It goes perfectly with the not-too-sweet buttery goodness…and the sea salt completes the taste profile!
