First Holy Communion … again!

My oldest daughter has completed her “tour” of First Communions! She celebrated this sacrament at the beginning of the month with her schoolmates. Today, she celebrated with her church mates!

This was the celebration event. All of our families attended Mass (which included a couple adorable presentations by the communicants), then we had a party at a park pavilion…complete with cake!

We had no gumpaste mishaps this go-round!

The cake was a vanilla-chocolate marble. It was layered and covered in vanilla buttercream. The colors were created with all-natural food coloring! (I have been transitioning Roo away from artificial colors.)

Here’s what I used….

It was a wonderful day spent with family and friends…all so we could celebrate my little lady and welcome her to The Table!
